Buying Out Technology Today

Disney was looking into buying BuzzFeed, until they discovered their price tag. Asking $1 Billion for it's coming they coined it as being a "buzzkill".  Disney did however acquire the YouTube based video supplier Maker Studios for a cool $500 Million!  More money is to be given if certain goals are met that Disney has laid out.  The company Buzzfeed was established in 2006 and sees 130 million unique visitors every month.

This Year's Almost Over...

This year Computer Lit has taught me a few new things I can do with my computer.  Such as learning how to use Apache OpenOffice programs.  OpenOffice Writer is very similar to Microsoft Word but it's completely FREE!!  I learned how to format my documents to make them look great.  Also, OpenOffice Calc, similar to Excel, is good for budgets and spreadsheets.  Finally, I learned about Google families. And how they are useful in every situation, there's a calender for appointments, there's email for correspondents.
